The weekly International Health Policies (IHP) newsletter is a flagship knowledge management activity of the IHP network, funded by the Belgian Directorate-General for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid (DGD) and produced out of ITM Antwerp. The IHP network aims to “empower committed groups of global health experts based in the Global South through innovative collaborative models allowing them to have greater control on policy and implementation knowledge and its management.” One of the ways to do this is by enhancing synergies with the Emerging Voices for Global Health network – a global network of health systems and policy researchers, policy makers, activists and changemakers. In the ongoing times of Decolonizing Global Health, that has only become more important.
This year we invite one resident from the Global South to join the IHP editorial team for a period of 3 months, in autumn 2023. The residency will take place at ITM Antwerp and the resident will be based in Antwerp. Activities during the residency will include IHP and EV4GH network strengthening related work; the resident will also be invited to take part in other activities of the Health Systems & Health Policy research group at ITM.
