Renugaa is a third-generation Indian from Singapore, whose passions include education and promotion of minority rights, improvement of the welfare of migrant workers in Singapore, and involvement in grassroots activities. She recently completed her postgraduate degree from SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies) in Anthropology of Development, and also holds a BA (Hons) Communications from The University of Buffalo, The State University of New York.
